Join Betsy Oberheim, a retired art teacher turned member of the Central PA Rock and Mineral Club for a day of exploring the wonders of rocks. Children will begin to answer where does a volcano come from, why is a crystal shaped like that, where did our rocks from and what’s a fossil and how are dinosaurs related to all that? Each child will receive a beginner rock collection to take home to grow their awareness of the world around them. Ages 7-10, one chaperone per child. Space is limited. Pre-registration required.
