FULL Indigo Vat Dyeing Class

It’s fast, it’s magical and it’s everyone’s favorite blue. Learn about indigo and explore various Shibori resist methods. When you’re ready to dye you will see the wonder of indigo as your creation emerges from the dye bath colored green and turn blue before your eyes. You will be using a synthetic indigo vat to dye 1 pair of bamboo socks and a cotton bandana (27” x 27”). You can also bring a natural fiber (cotton, linen, wool, silk) textile from home to dye too, either a t-shirt or something of similar size. Workshop limited to 15 participants.
