Ever wanted to participate in Wildwood's Art In The Wild, but felt you did not possess the knowledge or necessary skills to do so? Join a local artist for a hands-on workshop of your choosing to learn the ins and outs - dos and don'ts of creating outdoor environmental art. Create a land art installation in the Park with your workshop group which will remain throughout the rest of the year for the public’s viewing. Please dress to be outside and bring work gloves. Participants must observe current Covid guidelines. Pre-registration required, program designated for those over the age of 18.
Please register for one of the following workshop topics.
1. Land Art #1 with local environmental artists Beau MacGinnes & Jana MacGinnes. Create an installation using found objects.
2. Mandala with Central Dauphin high school art teacher, Lorayn McPoyle. Create a beautiful mosaic out of found and collected natural objects.
3. Woodworking with heavy timber carpenter Raymond Curanzy, III. Create a chair or bench seat out of logs.
4. Land Art #2 with artist/sculptor Steve Reinhart. Create an installation using found objects.
