ABOUT ABOUT

Discover how to use your camera to create the best images possible. During this series of four workshops, Charlie Smith of Canon Professional Service will guide beginners in how to use and apply camera settings such as shutter speed, aperture, and ISO to produce consistent, well-exposed photographs. You will get ideas and inspiration to take creative, beautifully composed images, whether you’re in an exotic, foreign location or in your own backyard. To get the most out of these classes, take the Primer workshop on February 10 in preparation.

Workshop dates are: March 10, April 14, May 12, June 9
9:00am-12:00pm, meet at the Olewine Nature Center

Cost: $250, deadline for registration and payment is March 8.

Topics covered:

• Camera settings for creative control

• Aperture (ƒ-stop)

• Shutter speeds
